Composer Assistance Program

Direct, project-based assistance is available to AMC member composers to help them realize their music in performance.

The next deadline for the Composer Assistance Program is October 1, 2010.

Live Music for Dance Program

Helps New York City and New Jersey dance companies meet the costs of using live music. Companies may also request fees for composers who are creating new music for dance projects.

The next deadline is December 1, 2010.

CAP Recording Grant

AMC is pleased to announce a new funding initiative to support recording projects. Direct assistance is available for recordings of music by living American composers, or for the reissuance of recordings of works by living American composers that are no longer available.

CAP Recording has one deadline per year. The 2010 deadline has now passed. The next deadline will be July 2011. Please visit us again in April 2011 for the exact deadline for CAP Recording 2011.
